Each team has 7 players, and we play two 15-minute halves with a short break between. Lunch, Snacks, and refreshments are provided for participants. We play for fun, swag, and trophies with valuable prizes. In association with the Vancouver Street Soccer League, this Tournament is specifically designed for homeless players, DTES Residents, and allies of all ages, genders, and skill levels. We are a shame-free, fun, and inclusive event. We welcome Harm Reduction Workers from CUPE 5536, and Participants include active substance users, players who choose moderation, and those following a sober path. Our games are competitive, but not aggressive. The winning team is the one who shows the greatest fun, sportsmanship, and Spirit of the Game.
